Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Klipfox (the "Service"), a web application that turns long videos into short clips. The Service is operated by Go Byeongsu, trading as 매출팩토리 (mxfactory), a sole proprietor registered in the Republic of Korea ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Klipfox imports a video you upload or link, transcribes it, finds and scores highlight moments, and produces captioned, reframed clips you can edit, export and publish. Features differ by plan; the current plans are listed on the Pricing page.
Parts of the Service use automated systems, including AI models. Their output (transcripts, scores, titles, captions, crops) can be wrong. Review clips before you publish them.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate account information. Keep your password and API keys secret; you are responsible for activity under your account.
One person or organisation may not use several free accounts to get around plan limits.
3. Plans, credits and payment
Processing is metered in credits. The price of each job is shown as a quote before it starts and is settled to the actual length of the video after import. Jobs that fail are refunded in credits automatically.
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.
Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Unused monthly credits do not carry over unless the plan says so. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
We may change prices or plan contents with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the videos, audio, text and other material you upload or link ("Your Content") and to the clips made from it.
You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, process and transform Your Content only to provide the Service to you (for example to transcribe it, render clips, and publish to accounts you connect). This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.
You confirm that you own Your Content or have permission to use it this way, including under the terms of the platform you link it from (for example YouTube). Do not submit content you are not allowed to copy or edit.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to process or publish unlawful content, content that infringes others' rights, sexual content involving minors, content that harasses or threatens people, or malware; to impersonate others; to overload or attack the Service; or to scrape or resell it without permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
6. Third-party services
When you connect a social account (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and others) the Service acts on your instructions through that platform's API, and that platform's terms apply. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, their availability or their decisions about your content.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue the Service we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund prepaid, unused subscription periods.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting hello@klipfox.com. We may suspend or end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. After an account ends we delete Your Content as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea, unless the consumer law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
