Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-10-30
This policy explains what personal data Klipfox collects, why, who processes it, and the choices you have. The controller is Go Byeongsu, trading as 매출팩토리 (mxfactory) (contact: hello@klipfox.com).
1. Data we collect
Account data: email address, a hashed password or your Google account ID if you sign in with Google, display name, language, plan and credit balance.
Content: videos and audio you upload, links you submit, and everything derived from them — transcripts, detected moments, scores, captions, edits and rendered clips.
Billing data: plan, subscription status and invoices. Card and payment details are collected by Paddle, not by us.
Connected accounts: when you connect a social platform, the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, request logs and error logs, kept for security and debugging.
2. How we use it
To provide the Service (import, transcribe, analyse, render and publish your clips), to bill you, to keep the Service secure, to answer support requests, and to send service messages about your account or jobs. We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers.
We do not use Your Content to train AI models.
3. Who processes it
Hetzner Online (servers in the EU, Finland) hosts the application and runs transcription on our own servers.
Cloudflare R2 stores uploaded videos, working files and rendered clips.
OpenRouter routes text from your transcripts to large-language-model providers (for example Anthropic) to find highlights and write titles and captions. Video files are not sent to these providers.
Paddle (Merchant of Record) processes payments, invoices and taxes. Google processes sign-in when you use "Continue with Google". Pexels receives search keywords when you ask for stock B-roll. Social platforms receive the clips you choose to publish.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States; we rely on their standard contractual safeguards for those transfers.
4. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open. Uploaded source videos, working files and clips are kept until you delete the project or your account. Temporary processing files are removed automatically after the job ends.
When you delete your account we delete your content and personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example invoices, which Paddle keeps as Merchant of Record) and backups that expire on their own schedule.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to or restrict its processing, by emailing hello@klipfox.com. You can delete individual projects in the app at any time. We answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Cookies and local storage
Klipfox stores your session token and preferences (such as language) in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Paddle's checkout uses its own cookies when you pay. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Security and children
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), file links are signed and short-lived, and passwords are stored hashed. The Service is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes and contact
We will post changes here and notify you of material changes. Questions or requests: hello@klipfox.com.
